Why Sports Administration?
​
I have always been passionate about international showjumping and learning about the diverse ways in which our sport can grow. I am intrigued by the intersection with the business world especially. This is why I am so motivated to major in Sports Admin.
I wanted to add to my degree and the skills college can give me, by taking two minors. My minor in Marketing is very interesting because of how the world is developing within the age of social media.

Played a key role in inventory management including ordering products and managing a small team of employees to ensure the store fulfilled clients demands.

Played a key role in the distribution side of this beverage business. While also learning about the strategic production and planning that a beverage plant takes into consideration when producing different types of sodas, water, and energy drinks.

Learned from the head of project sales in a family-owned steel manufacturing plant. Learned and worked alongside the sales team, tending to clients and learning how to order production of certain materials needed to follow up with each clients orders.

Show Jumping, 2008 – Present
Competing for Panama nationally since a young age, I stepped onto the international scene in 2015 in Bogota, Colombia. After, I started to train with Venezuelan Olympic Show Jumper Pablo Barrios, from 2016 to 2020, US Olympic Gold Medalist Leslie Burr Howard, 2020 to 2021 and currently train with Alejandro Karolyi a Venezuelan Pan-American show jumper.

Winner of the 2021 Panama National 1.35mt Grand Prix (June 2021); Sub-Champion in the XI Encuentro de Fronteras Panama International Grand Prix (August 2021); 5th Place Senior Nations Cup Team Bolivarian Games Bogota (July 2022).
El Parloteo Ecuestre, Panama City, Panama
Host, 2020-2021
An Instagram and YouTube initiative that I created during the Covid lockdown where I would host weekly zoom meetings with two friends to keep fellow young Panamanian and international riders informed about horsemanship and all things pertaining to the equestrian sport during the Pandemic.

Volunteered at my schools’ chapter of Student United Way where I managed, organized and worked to create, fund, and promote numerous charitable activities.
Casita de Mausi, Panama City, Panama
ONG President, 2019 2021
Played a key role in my schools’ chapter of Casita de Mausi that helped provide temporary homes for cancer patients with limited resources, mostly housing people who live in remote areas of Panama and stay there while receiving treatment.
